Roshen

Corporate platform
Corporate website for one of the largest confectionery enterprises in Eastern Europe.
Background

Challenges faced

The main challenge for us was related to the design concept. We were asked to create a website that would be presentable and formal, emphasizing the corporation status on the one hand. On the other hand, the site had to be modern and memorable following the latest trends. It had also be taken into account that the website target audience was very diverse — both B2B and B2C sales models had to be covered.

Our approach

We carried out an in-depth analysis of the confectionery industry in Ukraine and overseas. Taking into consideration our data results, the design and technical requirements, we started the development process. We kept in mind that our client had asked us to help with the creation of a simple and user-friendly interface to solve some of the primary business challenges. To meet ROSHEN’s expectations, the OTAKOYI team offered different visual solutions to provide an increased quality of the product.

Features implemented

Taking into account the company’s activities, we combined all aspects on one platform — product line description, brand chain information, details on the social projects, production tours, contact data, etc. Partners, dealers, and distributors can find affiliate program information and by filling out the form apply for this program.

Since ROSHEN Chocolate Factory invites sweat-teeth of all ages to visit a tour to the Kyiv Confectionery Factory and join a trip to the place where chocolate is created, we designed an interactive calendar allowing to book available tour date. To make the process easy and fast we integrated payment gateway with the Point of Sale (POS) terminals.

Value delivered

OTAKOYI developed a well-structured interface for smooth navigation through the website and by its means we were able to significantly improve overall customer experience. The clear and convenient platform helps to save users’ time on searching for the product line of ROSHEN or any important information on social projects or available production tours.

Experience gained

This project was interesting due to the design and technical challenges formed by the business size and reputation. We had to be extremely responsible as our client was one of the biggest confectionery corporations in the world. The OTAKOYI design team had a chance to improve its skills and emphasize the company status and relate it to the industry vivacity. We had a chance to investigate the global confectionery industry and broaden the expertise of the food market.
